Today we celebrate a fundamental milestone for research on universal accessibility. Our book, «From Accessible to Inclusive: A Look Through Cinema«, published by Publicacions de la Universitat de València (PUV), has received the prestigious 2025 CEA-APQ Quality Seal in Academic Publishing.

This certification, granted by ANECA (National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation) and FECYT (Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology), is not a mere award. It is a rigorous validation of the scientific excellence and editorial quality of the work.
The Scientific Base of Inclusive Cinema
Often, the work in favor of inclusion and universal design is perceived only from a social or creative perspective. However, this seal confirms that the theory and methodology proposed in the book possess a solid scientific base.
To achieve this level, a monograph must pass a strict evaluation of nine essential requirements:
-
Information Quality and Transparency: Clear identification of the work, electronic availability, and precise metadata.
-
Editorial Policy Quality: A prestigious scientific committee and a transparent editorial policy from the publisher (PUV).
-
Editorial Process Quality: Detailed information on manuscript selection and external peer-review reports.

Support for the Academic Career
Beyond prestige, this seal has enormous practical importance. Since it meets the standards of the official evaluation agencies, the book acquires maximum relevance for accreditation processes and research merits.
As an author, this seal represents the validation of years of work dedicated to the professionalization of accessibility in film. Inclusive cinema is not just an intention; it is an academic discipline that meets the highest demands of scientific quality.
Gratitude and Commitment
This achievement is the result of our collaboration with the University of Valencia. I thank their editorial department for their trust in this subject and for their high standards in all their publications.
At Mi Cine Inclusivo, we continue our mission to unite film creation with top-tier academic research. Inclusion is a right and, thanks to milestones like this, it is also a recognized science.
