Miguel Ángel Font Bisier is a filmmaker, researcher, writer, and educator from Valencia. With a degree in Audiovisual Communication and a PhD in Applied Languages, Literature, and Translation, his career is defined by a commitment to innovation and universal access to culture.
Font Bisier’s professional journey reflects his visionary approach to storytelling. In 2016, he introduced XMILE, the first European audiovisual experience designed to engage all five senses. His diverse audiovisual portfolio spans genres and styles, earning recognition at leading festivals and platforms such as Netflix or Prime Video.
Inclusive cinema
In 2017, he launched his pioneering inclusive cinema methodology, which ensures the seamless integration of accessibility measures into his scripts from the outset. This innovative model has had a profound impact across a number of different sectors, including social, political, educational and artistic. It has fostered a number of high-profile collaborations with institutions such as the City of Valencia, the Spanish Senate, the Valencian Audiovisual Academy and The Walt Disney Company Latin America.
Second feature film
In the field of cinema, 2025 marks a new milestone in his career with the release of his second feature film, Inclusivity – Beyond Cinema. This documentary encourages the next generation of artists and communicators to consider accessibility as an intrinsic element of their work, underscoring its international, educational, and social message.
Additionally, Font Bisier has also demonstrated his commitment to education by participating as a teacher in projects funded by the European Union and in institutions specialising in technical and artistic training. His dedication to fostering an inclusive culture is also evident in his literary works, including Un confinamiento de cuentos (2020) and Alunia (2024). These publications combine narrative and accessible audiovisual elements to explore innovative forms of cultural interaction.
Books and research
Font Bisier has successfully integrated various forms of expression and communication through his creative, educational, and literary work, thereby promoting an accessible and universal culture in all spheres. This combination of expertise has resulted in the publication of the first manual dedicated to inclusive cinema, titled From Accessible to Inclusive: A Look Through Cinema (2024).
As president of Mi Cine Inclusivo, Font Bisier leads initiatives to redefine culture as a more open, empathetic, and inclusive space, driven by the belief that everyone deserves full access to the cultural experience.
